How The Book Is Built
The book draws on correspondence, court papers, company documents, archived websites, press coverage, photographs, and later research. Where something is a recollection, allegation, or inference rather than a settled document, the prose should keep that distinction visible.
The working archive tracks evidence in 03-research/sources-master-list.md and 03-research/timeline.md, with chapter-specific checks kept alongside the manuscript files.
For the public-facing edition, this page serves as the method note. It can stay short and readable while the more detailed source register remains in the working archive.
